Learning the concept of ‘angles’, the sixth graders created their own version of the different types of angles they learnt about; Acute, Obtuse, Right and Straight angles. As an extended activity, ‘The Angle Maker’ activity to concretize learning and to showcase their understanding, the students prepared simple models of these ‘angles’, named them with the reason why they are called so.
It was not just understanding through listening, but it was coupled with ‘understanding by doing’.
