The STS methodology of teaching and learning as well as its outcomes can be clearly measured against any yardstick of excellence in education. To maintain our high standards and constantly improve quality in keeping with our promise of Fostering Dynamism, STS has established an Academic Quality Management System [AQMS]. This is a scientifically aligned Teaching-Learning and Resource Management System that optimizes effort and minimizes wastage in a school system. It promises greater efficiency in teaching, and delivers exponentially better learning. The system ensures consistency and quality in every area of the school’s functioning including admissions, organizational planning, academics and Beyond Academics, communications, infrastructure and human resource management, student welfare and routine task implementation.
STS performance-based culture works in concord with the AQMS. Adherence to process and reflection on the level, quality and depth of achievement form an integral part of assessing employee and student performance, made through a Balanced Scorecard for both faculty and students. The Scorecard is a useful tool to monitor target achievement, identify potential inefficiencies in organizational functioning, and to set increasingly challenging benchmarks for key stakeholders. Our quality systems, and hence our Scorecard, are geared to make sure we fulfill our Core Purpose and Core Values. The functions of the AQMS have been further enhanced with the inclusion of a school-wide management system – a tool that has greatly improved communication between various members of the STS community.
